First off, a word of warning. My tolerance of attacks on religious beliefs is very low. This is not a place to disparage anyone's beliefs or try to show someone else where they are wrong. That goes for any religion or no religion. Talk of a
negative nature will very quickly get a thread locked.
Of course, nobody has done anything like that here. I'm just making this warning so people will know what my stance is on that.

The teachings found in the bible are fairly sound, but some are just contradictory.
Depending on what kind of Christianity you are dealing with, there are some things that don't seem to set well. However, the two things you mentioned specifically aren't really things I think are good points to criticize.
1. White Jesus. No, he wouldn't be exactly white, but he'd probably look like an Israeli. The Israeli's I've met have been rather fair-skinned. But anyway, if paintings by artists don't match what is probable, what does that have to do with Christianity as a religion? Perhaps if you had a problem with Christian art I could see your point.
2. Changes to the Bible. How much have you really studied this subject? I don't mean to be rude in asking that, it's just there is a lot to this. Contrary to what some people say, the Bible is remarkably well-preserved. There were some mistranslations, translations slanted towards a particular interpretation, and some scribal errors, but the text of the Bible has not really been altered since it was compiled from the multiple sources of records.
You're free to have whatever problems with any belief system you want. But it's better to base your disagreements on facts and a correct understanding of the teachings.
