Legal or not?

A primary school girl linked the films of "youtube" to her blog.
And she was sued by the owner.

It is confusing people.
I really have seen there are many links from youtube on some blogs or forums .
If they can then why the girl was against the law?

Well,I just want to know "Is it illegal to link the films of youtube to forum or blog?"
I have withdrawn those links I post previously .
Cause I dont know if it is legal.

Or Admin should have a clear rule about it.

You can post a text link to any website. If you put the video directly on your site without permission it's copyright infringement.

How the link was placed and if it credits the user is important.

On this forum text links to such videos are allowed. Any sort of embedded video would need to be about Chinese or English learning.
